Centerpiece For Pro Wins And Amateur Dreams.

What is it that makes this racing machine so successful? First of all, it's the completely redesigned frame with less than 900 grams with optimized STW ratio. Under the paint, perfectly crafted carbon ensures perfect handling: comfortable in the slipstream, but powerful in the sprint. When the race is on, Shimano's electronic Ultegra gruppo will easily change those 2x11 gears both precisely and inconspicuously: Click - click - click and go! No wonder Team Vorarlberg's pros are highly victorious.

  • Completely new frame w/ innovative cable routing
  • Premium gears: electronic Shimano Ultegra Di2
  • Comfortable fork (330 grams) w/ tapered steerer
  • High-quality DT Swiss R20 Dicut wheelset
  • High-end tires: Continental GP 4000 S II (25 mm)

High Modulus Carbon Fibers

Only the very best materials are used for the highest quality STEVENS carbon frames - so called high modulus carbon fibres. They offer a perfect combination of maximum toughness and elasticity. This way they provide maximum lateral stiffness for best forward drive and a high amount of comfort. Result: incredibly light and enormously stiff frames.

Tapered Seat Tube

The seat tube tapers from top to bottom. At the top it fits a slim 27.2mm seatpost that offers some flex and therefore increases comfort especially when riding over rough ground. At the bottom the large diameter nicley flows into the bottom bracket shell and downtube to provide great stiffness and drivetrain efficiency.

Comfort Carbon Seatpost

Who wants to be fast does not need to suffer – especially not when their STEVENS Carbon road bike is equipped with a Scorpo Carbon SL Comfort Seatpost which filters annoying road buzz. Its diameter of 27.2mm only and dedicated fibre orientation enable better flex without adding weight or loosing stability. By the way: the post can also be retrofitted.

Tapered Steerer / Tapered Headtube

Fork shaft (or steerer tube) and head tube are tapered, meaning their diameter increases from top to bottom resulting in a conical shape. The diameter needs to be bigger at the bottom since this is where higher stress is applied. Riders will benefit from a noticeable higher steering precision almost without weight penalty. Also tapered steerers feature a smoother force transfer (like forces caused by hard braking) to the downtube than forks with a continuous 1 1/8" diameter.

Full Carbon Fork

The most intelligent way of lightweight design for STEVENS engineers is to use carbon forks with 100% carbon fibers that run all way though from dropout to steerer tube in one single piece. This results in an amazing riding experience on and off-road: Lightweight, knife-sharp steering precision effortless climbing and maximum lateral stiffness even when combined with disc brakes.

Versatile cable routing

We keep the cable routing on our bikes as versatile as possible so you can ride your bike like you want to. There are wide and therefore easy to reach cable ports in the frame to insert either one or two cables or none at all - there are cover plugs for any of these configurations. This is also very convenient for retrofitting a dropper post.

STEVENS' Xenon has proven to belong to the best designed frames in a recent Tour magazine test. With a frame weighing less than 950g and a fairly light fork you can build really light bikes that offer excellent stiffness for a stable ride. Great comfort in the saddle and at the bar.

Great frame, convincing specs. The versatile Xenon pleased us both on paper, in the lab and on the road. A clear winner and recommendation.

Best frame in the test: The light Xenon is a top-notch product that leaves substantially more expensive models far behind on the test bench. Best stability and good suspension.

At 945 g, the Xenon offers the lightest frame by a long shot. Stiffness is on the safe side as well. The fork is impressive, being one of the few that unites decent lateral stiffness with good comfort. Lightest frame in test, pleasingly painted, very good fork.
