Elektronische Schaltungen haben sich am Rennrad und am Mountainbike neben den klassischen mechanischen Schaltungen längst etabliert. Bestechend schnelle und zuverlässige Gangwechsel bei minimalem Wartungsaufwand machen sich eben nicht nur bei der Tour de France oder im Cyclocross-Worldcup oder auf den Cross Country-Weltcup-Strecken bezahlt. Und genau darum sind viele Rennrad- und Mountainbikerahmen von STEVENS bereits „Di2-ready“ – sprich: für die nahtlose Integration von Akkus und Kabeln (anstelle der herkömmlichen Seilzüge) vorbereitet. Und selbst für seine edle Alfine-Nabenschaltung bietet Shimano eine Elektronik-Version an.

Wenn „Speed“ das vorrangige Ziel ist, kommt ein Rahmen auch mal in den Windkanal – und kommt letztendlich mit einigem Geschwindigkeits-Plus wieder zurück nach Hamburg. Davon profitieren die Fahrer unserer Aero-Renner: mit dem Arcalis auf der Straße und mit dem Super Trofeo in Zeitfahren und Triathlon-Wettkämpfen.

Aero-optimierte Bremsen

Zusammen mit den Spezialisten von TRP haben die STEVENS Ingenieure beim Zeitfahr-/Triathlon-Renner namens Super Trofeo oder beim modernen Langstreckenrenner Arcalis die Bremsanlage optimal vor dem Fahrtwind versteckt – vorne an der Gabelrückseite, hinten im Tretlagerbereich. Somit werden Sie auf dem Weg zur persönlichen Ironman-Bestzeit nur noch dann gebremst, wenn Sie es tatsächlich wollen.

Full Carbon Fork

The most intelligent way of lightweight design for STEVENS engineers is to use carbon forks with 100% carbon fibers that run all way though from dropout to steerer tube in one single piece. This results in an amazing riding experience on and off-road: Lightweight, knife-sharp steering precision effortless climbing and maximum lateral stiffness even when combined with disc brakes.

Versatile cable routing

We keep the cable routing on our bikes as versatile as possible so you can ride your bike like you want to. There are wide and therefore easy to reach cable ports in the frame to insert either one or two cables or none at all - there are cover plugs for any of these configurations. This is also very convenient for retrofitting a dropper post.

The Super Trofeo was especially strong on flat to hilly courses with wide curves. We especially liked the directional stability and the ability to corner while staying in the aero bars.
