Fun guaranteed for every-day riding or weekend rides.

For this slick pedelec - coming in three frame designs - we combine the super-silent Bosch Active Plus Drive e-motor with long-lasting 500Wh with reliable 10-speed shifting, an extra sturdy frame and a super-stiff suspension fork. Then we add a high quality finishing kit, that is well-proven in every-day use as well as on your favourite cycling route.

  • Allround pedelec with reliable Shimano Deore 10-speed gears
  • Silent Bosch Active Line Plus system with 250 W, 50 Nm and powerful 500 Wh rechargeable battery
  • Forma version w/ semi-integrated battery for a lower center of gravity
  • Sturdy suspension fork w/ lockout
  • Busch+Müller LED headlight with daylight function

Technology

Even when you can't see the strut that connects the pannier rack to the fender - it is there. The strut runs below the fender and provides - in connection with the rack mounted to the fender - more stability and lateral stiffness.

500 Wh Battery

This will decide success or failure of e-mobility. That's why STEVENS uses batteries with a huge 500 Watt-hour capacity in all its top-notch pedelecs for up to 215 km of range (according to the manufacturer, please refer to the Bosch range calculator for more exact results). This is possible even without a weight penalty: Compared to the old PowerPack 400, the new Bosch PowerPack 500 is just 100 grams heavier. This huge "fuel tank" is our premier recommendation for pedelec riders who don't shy away from the hilliest of itineraries.

Tapered Seat Tube

The seat tube tapers from top to bottom. At the top it fits a slim 27.2mm seatpost that offers some flex and therefore increases comfort especially when riding over rough ground. At the bottom the large diameter nicley flows into the bottom bracket shell and downtube to provide great stiffness and drivetrain efficiency.

Hydroforming

Using water or oil pressure aluminium tubes are transformed from their original round shape into their ideal shape determined by STEVENS engineers to perfectly withstand any load without any weight penalty. Riders of allround bikes and pedelecs will benefit from a better stability caused by hydroforming even when they are touring with heavy luggage.

Tire clearance up to 47 mm

Those who are riding on rougher surfaces now can mount up to 47 mm wide tires to benefit from more comfort and flat protection that derive from their larger volume, and that can be ridden with lower pressure. Frame and fork are already prepared accordingly.

Triple Butted, Double Butted

Meaning a frame tube has three or two different wall thicknesses along its length. Triple butted (TB) is the usual technology with STEVENS high-quality frames.
Tubes with different wall thicknesses are optimally adjusted to certain ways of manufacturing or to withstand specific loads. Where the highest loads occur or where tubes are welded, walls are the thickest. Butted tubes allow frame weight to be lower by several hundred grams.

Hydraulic Disc Brakes (Trekking)

There is no more reliable brake system than hydraulic disc brakes - that is why we strongly advice everyone, who is riding their cross, trekking- or city bike 12 months a year to choose one of our models with the „DISC“ suffix. Brake power is easy to modulate and does not fade a bit in the wet. Also the brakes are almost maintenance-free. And your local STEVENS dealer will gladly explain to you what you need to take care of when removing and re-installing a wheel

With luggage, the Stevens E-Lavena proves to be a mature touring bike. Without luggage it's a pleasantly nimble sportster for daily road or off-road trips. All in all a well-made touring bike that we liked a lot.
