The Tour de France Femme - STEVENS at the start of the season's highlight

The Tour de France is undoubtedly the highlight of every professional cyclist's calendar. For the first time since 2009, there will be a French national tour for women again this year – the Tour de France Femme.

The one-week Tour de France Femme is run by the organisers of the Tour de France and is part of the UCI Women's WorldTour of the world cycling federation Union Cycliste Internationale. After the end of the Grande Boucle Féminine in 2009, the stage race now also offers women cyclists the opportunity to compete in the most important cycling race in the world. At the first edition, a total of 24 women's teams will start, including the Belgian Plantur-Pura road racing team, which consists of cyclocross specialists Sanne Cant, Yara Kastelijn and Julie de Wilde, among others. All three rely on the excellent aerodynamic properties of the STEVENS Arcalis aero road bike.

The Tour de France Femme 2022 kicked off with an 82-kilometre circuit race on the Champs Élysées in Paris, held before the finish of the final stage of the men's Tour de France 2022. From there on, the stages become more challenging day by day until the mountain finish at the Super Planche des Belle Filles simultaneously marks the climax and the end of the TdFF 2022.

The three-time cyclocross world champion and 13-time Belgian champion Sanne Cant started the tour strongly and finished in 13th place – at the same time as the winner and Julie de Wilde was able to secure the white jersey of the leader in the junior classification after a hard fight on stage 3.
