The fast Belgian has been riding STEVENS bikes since 2009. Sanne won all three of her world championship titles (2017/2018/2019) on STEVENS cyclocross bikes. Also competing in the 2022/23 season are Yara Kastelijn (NL), Marion Norbert Riberolle (BEL), Marthe Truyen (BEL), Julie de Wilde (BEL), Millie Couzens (ENG) and Kionna Crabbé (BEL).
With a 4th place at the strong Exact Cross in Kruibeke, Belgium, Sanne could already provide a first good result and Marion and Kiona also start the new season with top 10 results. Julie de Wilde had a strong road season finish with victory at the Grand Prix Wallonie in mid-September. Add to that top results in the Tour de France Femme with a 7th place in the second stage and a sixth place overall in the junior classification.
The men's team of Team Crelan-Fristads is also composed of very fast and successful riders, such as the U23 World Champion Joran Wyseure (BEL) and the U23 World Cup winner Mees Hendrickx (BEL). Also competing in the new season are U19 European Champion and U19 World Cup runner-up Aaron Dockx (BEL). Belgians Emiel Verstrynge, Timo Kielich, Lennert Belmans, Mathis Avondts and 2020 Belgian Elite Champion Laurens Sweeck round out the team. Laurens, U23 Vice World Champion 2015 and successful on STEVENS bikes since 2014, started strong and could immediately ride to a 3rd place at the Exact Cross in Kruibeke.
For STEVENS and the cyclocross bike Super Prestige this means a very successful start into the new cyclocross season. More than half of the riders in the women's elite top 11 field at the Exact Cross rode the high-tech carbon bike.
STEVENS is looking forward to the 2022/23 international cyclocross season and wishes all teams and riders every success.
