Mahle X20 Lite Assist Drive Unit

In terms of power, Mahles' X20, as used in the top model E-Strada 8.3.4 FEQ, does not have to hide behind significantly larger and heavier drives units. The drive unit delivers a torque comparable to that of a 55 Nm mid-motor – enough power to dynamically climb slopes, to overcome headwinds even on long distances or simply to arrive relaxed at your destination. The integrated 236 Wh battery and the optional 180 Wh range extender enable ranges of well over 100 kilometers.

Light-footed forward drive

The Mahle X20 rear motor in conjunction with the high-quality, lightweight and powerful Ultegra-based shifting group provides plenty of reliable propulsion for fast progress in everyday urban life, as well as a wide gear range to be prepared for a hillier topography. Also contributing to the sporty performance are the lightweight Fulcrum wheels with fast tires that allow lightning-fast handling and lively direction changes.

Perfectly integrated

The compact head unit of the X20 drive unit features Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity to read, analyze and adjust all important parameters of the drive via smartphone or ANT+ compatible devices.

Safety all year round

Sporty all-season commuters will appreciate the touring kit with front and rear mudguards and powerful lighting –including double rear light through the noble LightSKIN seatpost. An Ortlieb QL3.1-compatible luggage rack can be mounted as an option.

Comfortable and agile

The flatbar handlebar with a slight rise on the E-Strada 8.3.4 FEQ HT ensures a comfortable hand position, an excellent overview in city traffic and plenty of front wheel control. For the LT version of the E-Strada 8.3.4 FEQ, we have also opted for a slightly steeper stem with an angle of 20 degrees for an even more comfortable riding position.
