With the Camino AXS, we are expanding our popular Camino gravel bike series, which has been honoured by specialist magazines, with an exciting, particularly sporty equipment variant. The Camino AXS is the "racy" version of the popular Camino Pro and weighs just 8.4 kilograms thanks to its lightweight SL carbon frame and selected components. This makes it your perfect companion for gravel races or particularly fast laps on varied terrain.
The Camino AXS comes with extremely high-quality equipment details centred around the SRAM Force AXS 12-speed wireless drivetrain. It promises crisp, precise gear changes in all riding situations - whether during a quick sprint on the flat or on challenging climbs. The sporty character of the bike is supported by the Zipp 303 S carbon wheels with a rim height of 45 millimetres. They offer excellent aerodynamic properties, optimised stiffness and are also tubeless-ready.
Optimal conditions
The lightweight yet extremely robust carbon frame of the Camino is optimally designed to meet the needs of all gravel riders. A long wheelbase ensures a smooth ride, the sporty geometry provides the necessary agility and the low weight makes it especially agile on climbs.
Options en masse
With numerous mounting eyelets on the top tube, down tube and seat tube, the sturdy carbon frame of the Camino AXS allows extensive mounting of bikepacking accessories, panniers or everyday equipment such as mudguards or pannier racks. The carbon fork is also equipped with additional mounting points. Ideal for all those who not only want to gravel in a sporty manner, but also for exceptional commuting or speedy travelling.
Optimised drivetrain
It gives the Camino AXS its name and guarantees riding fun: the SRAM Force AXS 1x12-speed drivetrain from the gravel-specific XPLR series. The wireless component groupset impresses with its wireless design, intuitive eTap shifting logic and SRAM AXS connectivity for extensive customisation options. Whether it's a steep ramp or a fast descent – with a 40-tooth chainring and a wide-range 10-44-tooth cassette, the right gear is just a tap away.
Optimally guided
What at first glance looks like the derailleur of a 2x or 3x drivetrain is actually a valuable little helper. It ensures that the chain always sits neatly on the chainring, even on the most uneven surfaces. Thanks to its clever design, it can also be adapted to other chainring sizes in a matter of seconds.
(Not only) a visual highlight
The brakes on the Camino AXS are just as high-quality as the drivetrain. The Force AXS HRD shifting brake system shines with high maximum braking power, excellent modulation and an elegant finish with carbon brake levers and hologram graphics. The grip width adjustment integrated inconspicuously into the grip body allows customisation to individual ergonomic requirements.
Visual eye-catcher
With their 45 millimetre high sidewall and large graphics, the Zipp 303 S carbon wheels exude real aero race character. Not only do they look extremely good, the hookless rims are also real performance boosters. They allow the use of wide gravel tyres for low rolling resistance. Their design also makes it possible to ride with comparatively low air pressures - for increased comfort and therefore less fatigue, especially on long journeys. The Camino AXS rolls on 40 millimetre wide Continental Terra Speed Allround tyres as standard. The generous tyre clearance of the frame and fork allows the use of tyres up to 45 millimetres wide.
