There is also praise for the "timeless appearance". The urban racer in the color "Frozen Silver" not only looks shiny, but also rides like it: "You sit quite sportily on the Strada, as befits a nippy fitness bike".

The editors had particular praise for the balanced seating position of the e-city bike. "The straight handlebars result in a rather sporty, but very good seating position", said the test riders.

The testers also praised the well thought-out specification of the all-rounder, which was one of the sportiest models in the test field. For this, RennRad Magazine awards the Race Tipp.

The test editors particularly praised the coherent and high-quality specification of the E-bike: "All components are up to date: Kiox display, Schwalbe's Marathon tires in the E-bike version and the powerful lighting system from Busch + Müller." Simply a "good spec package. With Stevens, as a customer you simply know what you're getting," says BIKE Bild.

In addition to the cornering behavior, the testers also praised the bike's high possible payload. The permissible total weight is 130 kilograms and therefore offers plenty of room for a lot of luggage. "The stiff, triple-butted aluminum frame easily coped with the heavy luggage on the test route," said the test editors. This was accommodated on the luggage rack mounted for the test.

The base for many current everyday racers are the sporty gravel bikes, multifunctional bikes with curved "drop-down" handlebars that combine the agile handling of a road bike with off-road capabilities. In combination with powerful lighting and practical mudguards, these bikes are transformed into nimble randonneurs, i.e. bikes that can be used to cover long distances at high speed and with a certain amount of loading.

The AM 8.7.1 GTF E-all mountain bike is the top model of the E-Inception range with Bosch drive unit, it builds on a lightweight carbon frame in sporty-agile GTF geometry, the Bosch 750 Wh battery is permanently installed in the frame for weight reasons, however it can be removed by a specalist shop if needed. "This makes it possible to design the down tube conventionally despite the long battery, as additional brackets for the mechanical release could be omitted. This saves weight and allows traditional, proven frame designs down to the smallest sizes," say the test editors of EMTB-News.de.

Shimano's Deore XT components are generally considered THE standard when it comes to high-quality mountainbike groupsets and brakes apart from pure race components. The classic Deore XT drivetrain combines high quality and durability with precise shifting performance, short shifting travels and low operation forces – smooth shifting even under heavy load is its domain and it is also characterised by a low weight of all components.

In the comparative test, the Arcalis scored particularly well with its very light carbon frame, the resulting low overall weight and the high-performance aero design. The excellent aerodynamic properties are partly due to the wheels used on the test bike. "As the only aero road bike in our comparison, the Stevens Arcalis comes with genuine aero wheels", say the test editors.

A "beautiful bike, this Sonora from Stevens, that's all I can say" is the conclusion of the Velozine test rider. Above all, the well thought-out, proven geometry of the carbon frame finds favour, as it creates an efficient yet relaxed riding position that can quickly be made a good deal sportier with the help of a few simple and above all self-executable tricks, such as an inverted stem, should this be desired by the rider.

"A classic all-rounder without frills, [...] at an affordable price? The Izoard Pro Disc [...] comes pretty close to this ideal", is ROADBIKE magazine's test conclusion on the Izoard Pro Disc. Ideal for the "pass tour in the Alps to the quick after-work ride", according to the editors. The test riders especially praise "the well-balanced, lightweight carbon frame with disc brakes" and are pleased with the standard, mechanically shifted Shimano Ultegra drivetrain, which is "tried and tested a million times" while being very reliable.
