At the second Cyclocross World Cup race of the season in Flamanville, France, Aniek van Alphen (Seven Racing) secured the first World Cup victory of her career.

The 26-year-old Dutchwoman took the lead in the women's elite field at the start of the race and dominated from then on. After securing the lead, van Alphen was able to continuously extend her advantage and ultimately won the race with a 16-second lead.

With Inge van der Heijden (Crelan-Corendon, 4th place), Marion Norbert Riberolle (Crelan-Corendon, 7th place) and Manon Bakker (Crelan-Corendon, 9th place), three other STEVENS Super Prestige riders finished in the top 10.
