The international cyclocross season is in full swing, and before the teams start the Cyclocross World Cup in November, the riders traditionally put the finishing touches to their preparations in highly competitive race series such as the Exact Cross or the Superprestige Series, whose popularity is due not only to the festive atmosphere surrounding them, but also to extensive TV coverage.
At the Exact Cross in Essen, Toon Vandebosch (Crelan-Corendon) prevailed against Victor van de Putte and Niels Vandeputte.
STEVENS rider Cameron Mason (Seven Racing) got off to the best start and managed to break away from the field, but was then caught by five pursuers. In the penultimate of eleven laps, the Briton attempted a breakaway but was caught again. This was the chance for Toon Vandebosch, who initially stayed in the background but then won the race just ahead of Victor van de Putte and Niels van de Putte.
In the women's race, Crelan-Corendon teammates Sara Casasola and Marion Norbert Riberolle finished in the top 3. Aniek van Alphen (Seven Racing) came in 4th, another STEVENS Super Prestige rider achieving a great result.
Crelan-Corendon rider Marion Norbert Riberolle won the Superprestige race in Ruddervoorde, Belgium. She was initially part of an eight-strong leading group, but managed to break away towards the end and enter the final lap with a lead of over ten seconds. She ultimately crossed the finish line five seconds ahead of her teammate Sara Casasola. Inge van der Heijden (Crelan-Corendon) finished in fourth place alongside Sara, meaning that STEVENS Super Prestige was represented three times in the top four. In the elite men's race, Super Prestige took five of the top ten places.
