RennRad Magazin - Comfort tip for the Xenith

In issue 7-24, RennRad magazine reviewed ten lightweight road bikes. The STEVENS Xenith endurance bike was awarded the editors' comfort tip.

The Xenith - as the only designated endurance bike - not only impressed with its damping comfort, but also with its low frame weight of 920 grams in frame size 56. "A top value for a long-distance model", according to the test editorial team.

The sophisticated design of the high-quality Xenith carbon frame ensures that frame rigidity is not neglected despite the high level of comfort. It "impressed during the test with top stiffness values" and, as a result, with large reserves of riding safety on fast descents.

As befits a bike designed for long rides, the riding position is also very comfortable. According to the RennRad Magazin test riders, it is "quite compact, balanced and only slightly stretched". In combination with long chainstays, a large wheelbase and a comparatively slack steering angle, the result is a pleasantly smooth-running bike that "never tends to get nervous, even at very high speeds", according to the RennRad Magazin editorial team.

The custom bike can be customised in the STEVENS Custom Bikes configurator. In addition to different frame colours, you can choose from some of the best component groups, wheels and cockpits on the market. In no time at all, you can create your own personalised custom build based on your own requirements and preferences.

The Xenith test bike not only scored full marks for frame, smoothness and comfort. Thanks to the electronic Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain, high-quality DT Swiss ERC 1100 Dicut 35 wheels and selected add-on parts, the marathon bike tested by RennRad Magazin is also fully convincing in terms of specification.

In conclusion, the RennRad Magazin editorial team says: "As a lightweight endurance model, the Xenith Gen 2 impresses above all with its extremely smooth ride and comfort. The specification is of a high quality and quite sporty."
