"It took us two hours to cover 10 km in one day."

After a year of planning, the two friends and fellow students left Göttingen on 18 October for Hanover and from there on to Amsterdam. Then they made the leap across the pond to Buenos Aires in Argentina. From there they took a domestic flight to the starting point of their adventure: Ushuaia at the southern tip of the South American country.

"Just go really far for a change."

The two friends and fellow students want to cycle the Carretera Panamericana, which is considered the longest continuous road in the world. They will cover a good 30,000 kilometres, almost three quarters of the earth's circumference, in the one-year project. In addition to their own (border) experience, they will also collect donations for World Bicycle Relief.

During the five days of the in-house exhibition, STEVENS welcomed over 400 guests, dealers, journalists and partners from Germany and abroad (such as Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland) at its headquarters in Hamburg. Traditionally, the fair offers a comprehensive insight into the product range of the coming model year – away from the usual trade fair business of the well-known industry exhibitions. The E-Universe Plus FEQ bikes

What all STEVENS bikes with the Plus addition have in common is that they are designed for a higher permissible total weight of 180 kilograms, while standard bikes are approved for a maximum of 140 kilograms. Frames were developed especially for this purpose, which are designed for the higher payload and the associated greater load. They have been tested and certified by an independent bicycle testing institute and are, without exception, Forma low-entry frames without a top tube. This allows to get on and off the bike comfortable and safely even with a loaded rack.

In detail – the E-Inception Active and GTF geometries

A rider's demands on his bike are as different as people can be. Above all, the intended use plays a decisive role. Should the bike primarily be used for longer tours in moderate terrain? On the ride to work or on the much-cited Sunday trip to the ice cream parlour? Or is the bike primarily seen as a piece of sports equipment with which you can bang through the forest, raid over trails and shoot up and down the mountains? In addition to the bike's equipment, i.e. chassis, brakes and drivetrain, it is above all the basic design of the frame geometry that sets the tone here.
