The rear derailleur is the centrepiece of the exclusive shifting group. It covers cassette band widths from 10-28 to 10-36 teeth and is compatible with both 1x and 2x drivetrains. Larger derailleur pulleys with ceramic bearings ensure a super-efficient drivetrain and contemporary aesthetics. Compared to its predecessor, the new rear derailleur is 16 grams lighter and is compatible with existing AXS batteries.

In addition to the 50/37-tooth crankset, a 10-33-tooth and a 10-36-tooth cassette are available in the STEVENS Custom Bikes configurator for optimum customisation to suit your own needs and riding profile.

The front derailleur has also been revised and its optimised cage shape and electronic trim functionality promise fast, precise shifting and optimum chain movement without chain rub.

The biggest change concerns the HRD shift-brake system. 83 grams lighter than its predecessor, a new design and a stiffer brake calliper significantly reduce hand forces and enable genuine one-finger braking from both the grip body and the lower handlebar, for fatigue-free braking even on long descents. The optimised shape of the grip body offers maximum ergonomics for both small and large hands. Thanks to grip width and pressure point adjustment, the shift-brake levers can be customised to individual requirements. The SRAM eTap shifting logic ensures lightning-fast, intuitive shifting. A "bonus button" on the inside of each grip body enables the control of ANT+ devices. They can also be used as an additional option for shifting.

The SRAM AXS technology enables quick and easy setup of the entire system as well as extensive customisability from the SRAM AXS app.

With its unique design, the SRAM RED AXS groupset is an excellent match for modern road bikes and can be ordered with the Arcalis Gen2, Xenith Gen2, Izoard Pro Disc or Aspin Disc.
