Lennard Kämna of Team Stölting is the new German U23 National ITT Champion. In Einhausen, Hesse, the Junior ITT World Champion rode the 30km course aboard his STEVENS Super Trofeo in 35:37.86 minutes.

Kämna was six seconds faster than his team mate and defending champion Nils Politt who also road a STEVENS Super Trofeo. Kämna said after the race: ”I must say that I was a little surprised that I was able to beat Nils.” Nils Politt responded: ”Six seconds ain’t much. But one of us won that’s the main thing.” Jonas Tenbrock of Team Stölting completed the team’s good results by coming in 10th of 84 competitors.

Team boss Jochen Hahn praised his riders: ”Lennard was sensationally strong. He and Nils rode an average speed of more than 50kph. Also Jonas did a great job.”

At the German National Elite Championships Kämna finished the race in a good 12th place. By winning also took over the lead in the Cycling Bundesliga (”Federal League”), which the German Championships were a part of.
